Bishop Joel Holmes

Reverend Joel Holmes serves as bishop of the First Pentecostal Church. Bishop Holmes is married to Jonette. At the age of sixteen, Bishop Joel Holmes began preaching. He traveled throughout the United States and Canada evangelizing until the age of nineteen when his father, Bishop A.O. Holmes was stricken with a paralyzing stroke. At this tender age, he assumed the pastorate of the First Pentecostal Church. Under his able leadership, the church experienced growth—spiritually and numerically. Bishop Joel Holmes is a visionary who has led the church through three sanctuary building campaigns, and numerous other projects. The hallmark of his fifty years of ministry is prayer. Bishop Joel Holmes preaches on prayer, and he lives it.

Pastor Nathan Holmes

Reverend Nathan Holmes serves as pastor of the First Pentecostal Church and president of Truth College at the Rock in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Nathan is married to Mandie, and they have three children, Benson, Beatrice, and Camilla. At sixteen years of age, Pastor Holmes answered the call to the ministry. He attended Harding University, where he received a B.A. in Communication. In May 2016, he graduated with a Masters in Theological Studies from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Theology and Religion from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. Pastor Nathan Holmes possesses a passion for the study of the Word and its practicability in everyday life.
